 Ferry or boat disabled passenger access has always proved a problem where tidal waters are concerned or where various water line depths of laded or unladen vessels are apparent.Our portable aluminium gangways fully supports both occasions whether from a floating pontoon type harbour or static height harbour. Our gangway is lightweight and simple for one person to easily manouvre around the harbour and place in position. The standard 2.5 metre aluminium gangway can reach out from the Harbour up to 1.5 metres and can be adjusted from 20 cm above the Harbour Line to 70 cm below the Harbour line. Once in position the ramp simply moves freely in any wash and follows the contour of the boat without any tripping hazards at each end. Manufactured mainly from aluminium the whole gangway is counter-balanced by a steel chasis with Castors to the rear of the ramp, and with the use of a simple lever is lowered into position onto the boat. This fully portable boat ramp has a safe working load of 750 kgs when in use, so easily withstands multiple people for quick loading or unloading from dock to Boat. The floor of the gangway is our unique, all weather anti slip floor which will not wear or rot and will remain anti slip in most weather conditions.
