Two ranges are available, either all aluminium or a mix of long lasting tannalised wood and aluminium, detailed left and below. The all aluminium system includes our unique anti-slip floor and all aluminium handrailing. This ramp system is probably the most versatile in the world and typically the system left can be configured into over 60 different combinations. Thats just 6 ramp and platform components and 12 Handrail modules. Standard components are available from stock in both 1:12 and 1:15 angles. Platform modules can be assembled and locked together on all 4 sides which allows any size platform to be configured at 90 and 180 degree turning platforms. The platform modules can also be turned and used end to end to leave a mid ramp rest platform. Please expand the pictures below to show just a few ramp combinations.
Standard ramp modules are available in 200cm and 100 cm and 100cm wide while standard platform modules are 120 cm long x 100 cm wide, we also manufacture an 80 cm wide module where space is restricted. For commercial premises the system is available in 150 cm and 120cm wide. A bespoke system in this style is also available. Fully adustable legs are simply slotted in the underside and locked in place. Standard handrail panels simply slot into the modules and are locked into place so that removal without a spanner is not possible. For domestic purposes the handrail panel has an intermediate rail and a rail at 10 cm high, however the commercial system has a 10 cm upstand. All panels are linked together by a strong decorative chain at the mid points and slot in corner and straight components on the top rail to leave a fully continuous top rail. Detailed right are just a few of the combinations that can be made from just two platform modules and one 1 metre ramp section and one 2 metre ramp section (shaded are platform modules ). No special installation skills are required therefore our standard system is ideal for Local Authorities and any company that requires regular disabled access at various locations, such as refurbishments etc when a ramp is required on a temporary basis. We do offer a nationwide installation service. Instead of using capital to buy a purpose built ramp that will be scrapped when finished with, components can be simply drawn from stock and positioned at the property. When the ramp has completed its service then the components are returned to stock and used in different configurations at other properties. Little to no maintenance is required.
