Simple to use the ramp is unfolded out of the van, then the equipment is unloaded, and should there be a stage or stairs or some other obstacle, the ramp simply detaches  from the van in seconds and used as a single span van ramp. If there are no obstacles or platforms to load, the van ramp is just left in position folded away after use.
